The razor box is made of poplar and put together with glue and wooden pegs.

The inside dimensions are 6 3/4" long x 1 1/4" wide; outside box dimensions 9 1/2" long x 1 1/2" wide x 7/8" tall.

Length is increased by 1 1/2" with the decorative end of the lid.

The lid pivots on a small dome headed brass screw.
